The reason I am posting this in the weddings category is because I'd like to get honest answers from adults, men & women because I used to take strictly erotic/glamour (non-nude) photos for wives taking spicy but tasteful pictures for their hubby's, gf taking pics for their b/f and modeling portfolios.
I am now branching off into weddings, newborns, children and family portraits and I'm getting ready to open my awesome studio in the heart of the historical part of my small town city.
I'm concerned that the Biz name will either scare them off or attract attention because A LOT of people will be driving by it daily and traffic will be my main advertisement as the building sits in a perfect site for traffic.

I want to make sure that I am not overreacting. I have been subsequently dating this man for almost a year and a half and we both have thought seriously about marriage. I try to give the benefit of the doubt when it comes to trusting someone I want until they show me any different.
Well about a year ago, we were at my house and I had grabbed his phone and was going through his screen savers and pictures. I didn’t really think much of it because if he's my guy at this point, and we're into one another, I don’t see why he would mind me messing with his phone if he has nothing to hide; and he didn’t show that he really cared.
Well let me tell you, he should have, I was devastated. Not only did I find pictures of other women he used to and probably still associated with. They were naked and pure pu$$y shots on at least 10 of them. I flipped! I had no idea this man would be walking around with something like this in his phone.
Not only that, his screen savers had bouncing naked booties. When I calmed down, I took the time to discuss with him how I felt to try to resolve the matter like an adult. I told him I clearly didn’t like them in there and when you’re trying to date someone you just don’t have that kind of stuff around. He said that he didn’t see the problem over the pics because he wasn't messing with any of them in any way.
However, these were not your downloading model shots. These were pics of his ex, his previous associates and others he had run across and had numbers to. He could call any of these women at anytime and there were some he said he HAD been sexual with before in the past. I don’t understand why there are so many with clit shots, if he claims that he cant help he's a booty man and he likes big booties. Anyway, he claims that these women just send these photos to him and that he doesn’t ask for them. But the reality is I don’t see him deleting them. I didn’t want to be pushy but I told him I WANTED THEM GONE.
As time went on everything else seemed fine except I had a bit of a trust issue at this point. Months later I checked his phone to find some of them gone but a lot of them still there and now he has a password to his pictures file.
We have gone through this issue at least 4 times and I am beyond a point of pisstivity. His excuse and response to the whole thing is "I don’t see why it’s such an issue if we aren't together completely and I thought we were just being friends." Which this has opened a whole new can of worms. Because we had been very close for a while doing things that friends just don't do. He brought his mother to meet me, he's been around my kids on a daily, went to meet my family and we have been intimate and everything.
I'm confused, he claims on a daily and at every site that he loves me and puts me first. In a way I can see it through his actions, except with the letting go of these stupid pictures and girls’ phone numbers in his phone. I also understand that when we first met I made it clear I didn’t want anyone; however, things just did not go or end up that way.
I really need to know am I overreacting. Do I need to keep patient and hope that this issue will dissipate with marriage, time, as we get closer or what? Because I'm so upset with this man, I'm contemplating not being his damn friend at all, because I'm tired of expressing how this makes me feel and I refuse to do it anymore. He seemed like everything I wanted in a man, perfect to my children and very good to me. He just keeps pissing me off with this, and I'm about to throw this friendship (I guess, if that’s what he wants to call it) away. What am I not seeing?

Personally, I pick Demi Lovato, shes a pop/rock singer and she wasnt pretty as a child, but i think she looks way better now and she also has an AMAZING voice. don't get me wrong I've never really liked Miley (Hanna Montana) Cyrus until I took a look at myself.
First of all, she has Diva qualities... umm I wasn't famous at 16 and I'm pretty sure I was more of a diva than she is.. I really believed I was queen of EVERYTHING and if I could have shutdown Disney for one day just for my birthday it wouldn't have reopened as anything other than ASHLEY WORLD!!! but can you girls really look back and tell me you didn't act like a diva when you were her age?!?!
Second, Everyone is freaking cause she's dating a 20 year old and she's 16 (when I was 16 so was I, Brett is 4 years older than me also) but then if you look at it even deeper. She is living in an adults world and having to be an aduld everyday.. and it has to suck.. but she can most likely relate to a 20 y/o man before she could a 16y/o boy.. not to mention that boys mature WAYYYYY slower than girls (like decades it feels like sometimes) so most 16 y/o girls usually can't relate to boys their own age anyways!
next she had some sexy pics out.. what 16 y/o girl hasn't been with some of her friends took sexy pics(girls from my generation anyways)?!?!? let me say when I was 16 I dreamed of being in playboy! (and I would sit in class and hang out with friends who drempt of things far worse than that so I know it's not just me) so I'd say being in vanity fair wrapped in a sheet is way more innocent... then there are people that will say well that different she's a role model.. umm well so am I, I have 3 little sisters and lots of little cousins that I have to think about... and I try hard to now... but when you are 16 you're the center of your own world! and it's hard to think about anyone but yourself(that's that diva quality) but you know now that a am older (just a little thought) and Brett and I talk about having a family soon I try to think of things as.. would I want my children to hear about this.. and I'm sure that someday she will grow up and think the same.. if not then people can talk!
the way I look at it is there are 16 y/o girls out there having babies and sleeping around.. I know the summer I was 16 I managed to stay wasted and my mom rarely knew.. lol.. now.. I don't drink and don't party.. but that's beside the point... most 16 year olds are bad and if the truly only wrong thing she has done was park in a handicapped spot.. then leave the girl alone..
and as for all of the people who say she needs to grow up.. SHE'S FREAKING 16.. she's grown up enough.. (you don't want her to act like Michale Jackson when she's in her 40's do you??! cause that's what happens when you have to grow up to fast... you lose it!!!!...
and YOU need to grow up if you are an adult making fun of a child..no I don't have influence over what thousands well heck millions of children.. but I'm a firm believer that PARENTS should teach their children right from wrong.. and not leave it up to a 16 y/o girl to raise their children!yes but my mother trys to pay a lot of attention to the things my little sisters watch so when something comes up with a celeb we talk about it and say ok,

Met this man online and we met face to face. He flew in from the US and I live in the UK. We got along fine, and we are in this sort of long distance thing at the moment until we get to know each other better for something deeper. But in one of our regular chats online, he said something that really bothered me, and hurt me actually. Our "chat" went to the topic of weight...and he said that it's something that he thought a lot when he went back to the US. He said that I put on some weight compared to the pics that I sent him, and if I put on more he doesn't think he will be attracted to me anymore. I felt bad and really thought about dumping him then and there! All my women friends are upset too, but I want a guy's opinion on this. I know women can sometimes be emotional. Is he just being a jerk when he said this or just voicing out an opinion? He since then apologized and told me to forget about it and we will never talk about it again, but everytime I think about it, I sometimes think that he might be very critical of my looks if and when we do decide to make this something serious. He hints that he wants marriage and children...but hasn't proposed yet. Am I looking deep into his comments and just being sensitive? I admit I did put on some weight compared to those pics he has. But I did not put on a drastic weight because I still wear the same dress size. I wear a size 12-14 UK size which is 8-10 US size, so you see I'm not obese, just not skinny. A real woman, with curves I suppose. Guys, is it normal for you to be blunt like this? Is it me just being sensitive? My other friend told me maybe I shouldn't read so much into it, because she said her husband always says that he will find a young model to replace her but he's just teasing and she doesn't take him seriously. I do take care of myself, and likes to look good always, but I don't need anybody telling me I need to lose weight when I already know I should!

ok, I consider myself an attractive woman...I notice men looking and taking second looks at times in public...many of my friends and family say I am very attractive, I am not conceited, I am not super-model material, but I take pride in my appearance and try to look my best...I just wonder if I am losing my husband's interest in me...He constantly is making comments about other women and their bodies, he notices when they lose weight or tone up, but not me. He takes pictures of women from the office and dowloads them on our home computer. Recently I was at the office and met one of the girls he is always talking about, she was very rude to me and when I told him about this, he immediately came to her defense and this made me angry...Instead of saying he was sorry she was so rude, he accused me of being the one who was wrong, and made a lame excuse as to why she may have acted so rudely...ARGH! He took several pics of her with her kids and not one single pic of me with our children that day...well, he took a few pics of our son and daughter, but not with me in the picture. I questioned him about it and again, some lame excuse that since I am taller than her he couldnt get me in the pics becaus ehe doesnt turn his camera to take pics...too funny because he turns it to get full shots on our trips and of our children...I do not understand...should I be concerned? A few of the ladies from work have made comments about him being over-friendly with her....are they trying to tell me something, or is it just office gossip? He used to rush home for dinner and now it is as if he has many excuses why he has to work late. What should I do? He denies that anything is going on.

First of all, my wife and I are very humble people who try to live a positive life and are very much into our faith. Secondly, I am not into putting my child through the hassles of modeling, baby contests and things of that sort; but after receiving compliments from so many people we don't know on how beautiful our daughter is and with many of them commenting that we really need to enter our baby into such a contest, I couldn't help but wonder if we would be passing on the possibility that our 9month old daughter has what it takes to be the next big baby star or the next Huggies baby (and I say that with a very humble heart).
Now I know what many of you are thinking, "Everyone says that about everyone else's baby, so what makes your baby so special?" My baby is special because she is just that, "my baby", and you're right, many people will say positive things about a child to its parent's face and anything other than positive would just be rude. I think what makes my daughter stand out is me and my wife's ethnic background. I am Polynesian and my wife is Swedish/French so our daughter has the best of those backgrounds. thanks for letting me know guystripod let me tell you this first you should read i set print modeling not commercials secondly like i said in the begging of my message i was sceptical because i don't want her mistreated and third of all i have talked to many people who are working models and some of who started when they were young as she is and they had positive experiences because they had parents that was there with them and made sure they were not taken advantage of. also i said it would be a possible option to help her earn money for college. you really dont know anything maybe you should pay better attention before you bash people and throw out rediculous answers just so you can earn more points.

which is highly disturbing. They sell pics and videos of people smoking. Now that is not a problem, but they actually pay people to let them photograph their KIDS doing this! One of their "models" is three years old!
They are supposedly in Syracuse, and I reported the site to the Syracuse police over a year ago, and it's still there. I reported it to CBS News and even to Nancy Grace over a month ago, and yet it's still there. Does anybody know how they could be getting away with this? How could it be considered legal? I guess it's not porn, but it is definitely child exploitation, don't you think?

I did consider putting my 13 month old son forward for child modelling, although my other half was really against it so I have shelved the idea.
I did send some pics off to various firms, but the only ones who expressed an interest were ones who seem to be scams (such as Models Direct etc) and the higher profile agencies weren't interested so I guess he doesn't have a future as a model!
Just out of interest though, I wonder what the agencies are looking for? I mean, my son is really beautiful (well obviously I'd think that as I'm his mum!) so I'm not sure why they'd reject him. Someone said that more exotic looking mixed race babies, or blonde blue eyed babies are more likely to be signed up as there is more demand for them than there is for babies like my son, who are caucasian but with brown hair and eyes. I *know* he's gorgeous, I'm just interested in why these agencies didn't think he'd make a good model!This is my gorgeous little guy, climbing all over his dad's shoulder, lol!

Help indentifying my moms hummel goebel figurine!
My mom got a hummel figurine and I have posted a new question as the other people were unhelpful either providing wrong information and telling me its not a goebel which it definitely is, or giving vague info. All books she got don't show it. It is not the traditional children figurine it appears to be a man, maybe a leprechaun. He has a small fragile ladybug on his knee and is under a toad stool or mushroom. It is numbered 7 on base, which in searches usually means the merry wanderer child, which this obviously is not. It also has a crown mark on bottom and V.X.35 with the crown mark and a number 7 and germany stamped. Pics of bottom of base and a straight on figurine pic are following.
