I know the Xbox 360 is hackable where you can actually play games that you copy off of the internet, not old emmulator games but actually XBox 360 games that are copied onto a blank DVD from certain websites on the internet. I've been educating my friends in the beauties of the Homebrew channel, and now they want me to help them install it by telling them what to do. I told them they need a copy of TP for the wii, an SD card, and a wii with a firmware that is lesser than 4.0. They have everything except the TP disc. They were all going to chip in and buy one and share the disc with eachother. Just when they were about to buy the disc i made a horrible realization. Being that Nintendo likes to hide firmware updates onto their newer games. And since TP is made directly by nintendo I was thinking it wouldn't be too far fetched for them to of put one on their newer TP discs. I tried this morning (5 A.M.) to go onto Mario Kart Wii online but it said ERROR 20102; I learned that this error is from cheating/hacking, but I wasn't using cheats at all. I have the Homebrew Channel, but I only use cheats in offline Brawl. There was 2 days ago on Monday when I raced 8 people from Europe, and I got 1st place 4 times in a row because the guy behind me kept missing the shells he threw at me, but that wasn't hacking at all. I guess that guy was frustrated, THOUGHT I was cheating, reported me, and then I got banned even though it was just his lack of skill. I can honestly say I did cheat a month ago, was banned, then unbanned because I asked Nintendo. I don't like to use cheats anymore because it's too easy to win, and other people don't enjoy it. After being unbanned, I found it more exciting to play fair, and I stopped loading MKWii through Homebrew (no codes). What could I do if Nintendo doesn't unban me? Please read all I have to say, apparently my last post didn't make clear my problem. Before you say I'm using hacked pokemon, I"M NOT!! So that's NOT the answer to this problem. I am trying to hook my DS to Battle Revolution to copy my pokemon over, when I do it, the right way, it gives a white screen. I called Nintendo support last night, they said I HAVE to beat the Elite four in order to unlock that capability. Is this true or not? If not, I need to know. First the game wouldn't load up. Now it does all the time, but now I can't copy my pokemon over. I repeat, I do NOT have hacked pokemon. These are all Pokemon I have captured and raised since having the game. I have gotten none from anyone. I've not even hooked up with other users to battle or trade. These are 100% from in game and me going through the game. I want to do the Park battle on Wii where you have to have level 5 pokemon. But I can't get them to copy over. Someone knowledgable please help and tell me if it's true that you HAVE to beat the Elite four before you can hook up with Battle Revolution and DS???????????In response, I am asking because yes, tech support and customer support agents do blow smoke. Ok so check this: 8 months ago Mario Kart Wii gives me the reason to finally get internet so I can race online, so I take the plunge and get the whole broadband set up. it all works like a dream. From that day on, the stand by light on Wii is amber/orange instead of usual red. Can you tell where Im going with this yet? A couple months later I notice graphics looking a little bit messed, getting worse as the days go by. These are called 'artifacts' if you look it up. It turns out that when ever I wasnt playing on the Wii, it was cooking itself (just like leaving it switched on for hours or even weeks WITH OUT the cooling fan spinning) Graphics card now needs replacing. So any one owning an older generation of Wii, know the amber light is bad news and you must go into the settings and TURN OFF STAND-BY CONNECTION. its easy to find and should avoid all this trouble, which I don't expect from nintendo compared to the rushed 360. So why don't I deserve so shell out £30 to send off for repair? I've been saving Nintendo vip stars sins the begining (when GameCube came out in 2002) hoping I can spend them on something worth while, so Wii Points are just what I've been waiting for. All my Nintendo stars add up to £30 when converted into Wii Points (and spent on Four N64 games) and Wii is months out of garuntee, so this just craps on all those hard earned Stars. My Loyalty for all these years has meant nothing in the way of pay back. Only thing I would have spent those Stars on in the Stars Catolouge was the Gold Link on Horse Figurine (costing 15000 and also equates to £30) which ages ago sells out before you even knew it existed. Whats ironic is that in recent months its been made available again and never shows to be out of stock when I check, as though to mock me because I spent just some of my Stars on Wii points, Which couldn't even be used anyway as the shopping channel no longer works unless you update the Wii (to prevent hacks I suppose) but my Wii has been unable to update for many months for some odd reason, I can be waiting 20 minutes then error comes up every time. Bottom line all my Good looking Wii games look like crap, Saved up stars seem totally wasted, and all this because of staying loyal. Sorry this went on a bit but i'ts very discouraging. Resolved Question: Getting a connection to my 'hacked' Nintendo Wifi USB?

Ok, well I have been dying to get a connection to a computer (normal ol' Windows XP running on it) that I have recently set in my room... I do have a wireless router that is used throughout the house, and it's always been giving out wireless signals and working fine for whatever it is needed for. (2 Xboxes that use Live, sister's laptop, Mac computer, etc...) Nothing is actually connected directly into it, but that's not the point. I have been doing some desperate searching for an alternative to a wireless adapter, since I can't find the box that my Linksys router came in (I don't think it came with an extra adapter thing anyways...) Eventually I thought about my Nintendo Wifi USB I used to use for my Nintendo DS, and pondered if there was a way to -receive- internet instead of it sending it out for DS connection. So I thought it wouldn't be bad to try out. Anyways, I followed that guide and got it to work. However, the stubborn computer is saying 'Limited or No Connectivity' to whatever it's trying to connect to. I will try to explain my best on what I've been trying to do, but here goes: 1. In the taskbar, it shows the adapter trying to receive a connection. I can't seem to find a list of any available wireless access points, like you'd find on a laptop. I'm no pro, but I'm not sure how Wireless G USBs work. 2. I'm POSITIVE the connection strength should be good enough for the USB to receive anything. I have used the connection from my room to get on Xbox Live, and I even get a full 3-bar signal strength with my DS. 3. The guide says at the end once you have finished the steps, "That's it. A new wireless connection will appear in your system tray, and you know what to do from here."... Yeah I thought I would, but from here, it's being stubborn. Like I said above, there isn't any menu to try to connect to any 'Wireless Access points' like you would open when trying to get internet from like, a hotspot or something. (And remember, I don't know how Wireless G USBs work!) 4. Keep in mind I used to use this computer on a different connection, (BUT not with the USB thing I am trying out now).. I don't know if that could be a problem, like as if it's trying to find that old long-lost connection. The way it used to be hooked up was via Ethernet cord to a similar looking Linksys router, but not the same model. 5. My router is OPEN, it is not secured. (That doesn't feel right to be telling you all, haha) Meaning anyone who is nearby can connect to it wirelessly. *Big exhale*... I hope someone can resolve this, I'm dying to get a connection... If you have any questions to help resolve this, ask away, I'll edit and tell you. Oh and, no, I don't want to simply go out and buy a REAL compatible wireless adapter. I've gotten this far, and I'm tempted to get it working! >=)Oh yes, and the router is not in my room. This computer was originally used at a relatives house that lives 3 states away. (He gave me it because he said he didn't need it anymore.. I just got and hooked up the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection to connect our Wii to the internet. My Mom is concerned about having a Wi-Fi connection and wonders if we are now at risk of getting a virus on the Wii. She is worried that it is no longer safer to do online banking and use her credit card to purchase things online and also thinks that anyone driving by our house can steal the Wi-Fi for their lap top and that people can now hack in to our computer. I updated my Wii recently and now its 3.4. I want to install the Homebrew Channel using the Twilight Hack via SD card. (Im in the USA and im using the Twilight Hack0 Save) Im only installing the snes9x app, visualboyadvance app, mplayer app, and the homebrew browser. Snes9x and VisualBoy are both emulators. Can i go online or participate in Mii stuff without getting bricked by Nintendo or some hardware failure? I checked the apps and they were very stable and didn't mess with what i believe is called the "IOS" or something. Is this pretty safe? I just want my Wii to work properly after this procedure. Thnx!
